Component Sourcing Resources
Practical guidance for preparing RFQs and reviewing component lifecycle, packages, documentation and possible alternatives.
Prepare a clearer RFQ
Include the exact MPN, manufacturer, quantity, delivery location and required delivery window. Add acceptable date-code limits, packing format, traceability, inspection and qualification requirements when they matter to the project.
Lifecycle and documentation
Production, NRND, EOL and obsolete status can change over time. Review the current manufacturer product page, datasheet and lifecycle notices, then confirm the status again when placing an order.
Alternative-part review
A similar density or family name does not establish compatibility. Compare package, pinout, supply voltage, timing, command set, protection features, firmware impact and qualification before approving an alternative.
Useful starting points
Submit a sourcing requirement
Share the exact part number, quantity, delivery destination and project requirements for review.
